One of my most memorable experiences was traveling to Italy the summer of 2011 for graduate school.  I painted all over northern Italy that summer.  This painting was inspired by the beautiful hilltop village of Corciano.  In an exhibit held by the Academy of Arts  at the end of the semester it was chosen as the Mayors favorite piece!
