I currently reside in New Jersey and teach Art Education at Cresskill Jr. Sr. High School in Cresskill, NJ. I truly enjoy my job as an Art Educator. I love sharing my passion for art with my students and seeing them grow as artists and individuals.
I began my education specializing in Illustration and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BFA in Illustration in 2002. My art career first started as a Color Corrector, correcting fine art giclee prints for a publishing company. After a few years of working in this industry, I decided to pursue a career in education and became certified to teach art k-12 in 2006. During this time, I lived and traveled all over New England, exploring the beautiful areas of
Cape Cod, Newport, Providence and Boston. My family had learned to pencil me in to their address books...
I moved back home to New Jersey the summer of 2007 and began my job at Cresskill Jr. Sr. High School that September. Since then, I have had quite a wonderful journey. My husband Chris and I moved into our new home in 2020, where we are raising our beautiful family; CJ (7) and Brynne (3). I have recently completed my Masters in Illustration and look forward to other opportunities that lie ahead!
